Summer Monet

Summer Monet Summer Overton, known more as, Summer Monet is a talented singer who has the passion to share her gift with the world. She has been singing since she was a kid, and in her own words, she will tell how singing became her dream against all odds:

“I was shy to follow my dream of being a singer because it wasn’t considered realistic. I tried everything else. For example, I went to school for teaching. I tried so many other things, but singing and music was the only thing I wanted to do. I love learning more about my passion. I love challenging myself and since then, I realized singing is what I’m supposed to be doing. It’s the only thing I’m consistent with.

In highschool, I started by posting videos of myself singing on YouTube. I also posted cover songs on other social media outlets, like Instagram and Facebook. This motivated me to take my career to the next level after graduation. Now since then, I recorded my first single and started performing at local showcases. Also, my first EP will be out at the end of the summer 2016.”

Summer Monet came along way against all odds. With her determination, there’s no telling how far she can go with pursuing a gift she loves.
